INCLEMENT WEATHER CLOSING POLICY

In light of the forecast for potentially heavy snow this week, the Food Pantry’s Inclement Weather Closing Policy is below. We will attempt to make a determination regarding the Wednesday, April 3, 2024 distribution as soon as possible when sufficient weather information is available.

The Food Pantry will follow the Governor Wentworth School District closing schedule due to inclement weather. If the school district closes on a Wednesday distribution day we will open Thursday the next day. Should there be an additional day of closure on Thursday we will open Friday of the same week.

 There may be occasions when the Food Pantry finds it necessary to close on a distribution day even though schools may not be closed. (Example: Extreme frigid weather, dangerous wind conditions). Should this be necessary we will send clients an email alert and post the notice on our website and Face Book page. In addition, we will list the notification on WMUR TV.
